What wild times we are living in, who would have thought, or been prepared for the challenges we’re facing? Today I am so thankful that in these times of turmoil and uncertainty, we as Christians have somewhere to turn, we can turn to scripture.

God’s word is our rock, always prepared with wisdom and truth for every situation we may face. It has been here through the ages as we’ve faced persecution, plagues, corruption and more; and God’s word is here for us today as we face the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

So let’s take these challenges that we face as opportunity to dive into scripture, to seek the Lord and His wisdom for how to live with and love one another.

Pay careful attention, then, to how you live—not as unwise people but as wise— making the most of the time, because the days are evil. So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit: speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music with your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of Christ. - Ephesians 5:15-21

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let us follow these words of God, let us make the most of our time! Some of us may be getting the opportunity now to spend more of our time than ever with our family. Don’t waste it! Let’s read and teach God’s word to our children and our spouses. Let’s worship the Lord together in song with our families. Let’s recognize our blessings and in everything give thanks to our savior and God. Have a great week everyone.
