At Calvary Church, we long for people to develop real relationships. We see in Scripture that God created us for connection with both him and other people, and this guides the way we think about community. Life Groups and Focus Groups are two of the ways we aim to cultivate these connections.

Life Groups

A Life Group is a small body of believers within Calvary Church that orients itself to God and participates in regular discipleship together. These are more than just small groups that share interests and see things the same way. Life Groups are filled with different people, in different seasons of life, with different perspectives, and different gifts, all aimed at following Jesus together.

focus groups

Does the prospect of committing to a long term group seem unrealistic? Focus groups are a great way to grow in the Lord and build relationships with one another over a shorter, predictable time period. These groups vary in their topic of study and are generally 4-8 weeks long.

Finding the fingerprint of God in personality

Dates: April 25th-June 20th (Thursday evenings for 9 weeks)
Time: 7:00-9:00pm (visiting until 9:30 to follow)

We are all created in God’s image, and yet we are all so different! In this Focus Group we'll learn more about ourselves and others, how desperately we all need Jesus, how each of us are motivated differently, and how we can love each other better. We'll also see how the Gospel comes alive as we look at how God meets each of us so personally.
