Rob & Jacki Balfour
Rob and Jacki Balfour have been calling Calvary Chapel home together since 2006, although Jacki has attended since 1988. In spring 2011, Rob came on staff as team leading pastor at Calvary. Rob's passion is for preaching the Word of God for the glory of Jesus Christ. Jacki loves to run alongside the women of Calvary and see them come alive in Christ and in the Word. They have five kids: Ellie, Joshua, Micah, Gloria and Timmy. Rob and Jacki have been married for 20 years.
Greg & Michelle Friesen
Greg & Michelle have been attending Calvary Chapel together since 1999, with Greg having attended since 1994. They have been married since 1999, and have 6 children. Taylor, Eryn, Owen, and three foster children. Greg is employed full time here at Calvary Chapel as an associate pastor, while Michelle is at home with their youngest foster child. Greg presently serves as an Elder and both are actively involved in Praise and Worship and leading Calvary’s young adult group.
Matt & Helga Vogt
Matt and Helga Vogt have been calling Calvary Chapel their home church since 2010. They have been married since 2010, and have one son named Samuel. In addition to this, Matt has been serving as an elder since 2018. He is passionate in seeing people get free from the hurts, strongholds of life, and come to know the peace and wholeness that Christ offers in Himself. Matt currently works as a butcher at Unger meats, while Helga works as a Kindergarten teacher in Steinbach. Together they love hosting people and spending time as a family.
Elmer & Carlana Chen
Elmer and Carlana first attended Calvary from 2004 to 2005, and having lived away for nine years, returned to Steinbach and Calvary in 2014. As an elder at Calvary (with a nebulous entry during COVID), Elmer loves helping people to heal, learn, and grow. Elmer currently serves as the Pentecostal Chaplain at the University of Manitoba, Director and Counselling Therapist for Steinbach Counselling, and adjunct faculty for SBC. Carlana is a nurse at Rest Haven. Married since 2001, they have two children, Josh and Jayla (b. 2004, 2006).
